Sam and Kyle was my first groom-groom wedding after I shot a bride-bride wedding the previous year. It was a fun opportunity for me to work with more with the LGBTQ community and posing two men. At the core of it though, love is love, and I always look to capture genuine interaction to not restrict my clients to rigid poses. This was no different, except it felt more like a GQ magazine photoshoot than a wedding one with both Sam and Kyle looking so dapper.
Neither Sam nor Kyle were professional models, but they played the roles quite naturally. They exuded confidence like they’d done this before, but in the most humble way. It was a pleasure to shoot them when they were serious and even more so when they were just themselves around each other.
This was another gorgeous wedding affair planned by Be-Hitched and Rebecca Pfiffner, who I’ve worked with multiple times in the past. Always a comfort knowing an event planned by Rebecca is going to go off without a hitch because she’s got all the angles covered.
